FCAFC handing down DHI22 decision today
Today the Full Court of the Federal Court will hand down its decision in NSD529/2024 DHI22 & Ors v Qatar Airways Group Q.C.S.C. & Ors (re strip searches of Qatar Airway passengers in 2020), Rebekah Giles sued for professional negligence by barrister Gina Edwards.
Court of Disputed Returns to consider Bradfield challenge
Gisele Kapterian has lodged a petition with the Court of Disputed Returns challenging the federal election result for the seat of Bradfield, with Professor Emerita Anne Twomey observing that the High Court is likely to refer the matter to the Federal Court.
