A very, lets say, ambitious, complaint against Justice Rofe (FCA) has been dismissed. We couldn’t find the reasons published online but there is a twitter thread here which provides a summary. In dismissing the complaint it appears Mortimer CJ gave the lawyers who made the complaint a lashing, going as far to say “[t]hose contentions are so misconceived that it is difficult to understand how qualified lawyers could possibly have considered s 15(1AA) of the FCA Act could extend to exercises of judicial power."
