Commonwealth court breaches Privacy Act in CCTV fiasco [Canberra Times paywall]
The court empowered to handle complaints under the Privacy Act breached this very legislation in a landmark sexual harassment case, incorrectly granting a barrister access to CCTV footage of more than half a dozen individuals.
The lawyer worked 225 hours in just three weeks and was even forced to watch an ice hockey movie at 1am so she could understand her boss’s philosophical position.
