The Australasian Legal Education and Generative AI Showcase was hosted by Monash University on 25 September 2024.
Generative artificial intelligence (AI) has arrived and law teachers are beginning to incorporate it into their teaching, assessment and academic leadership. This online event showcased a variety of examples of how generative AI has been and is being used in law schools across Australia and New Zealand in 2024. It was an opportunity for law teachers at all stages of their careers to learn from colleagues' successes, mistakes, and how-to advice in a friendly and collegial environment, as a “show and tell”.
The Showcase was convened by Professor Luke Beck, Liam Elphick and Dr Paul Burgess.
